Flicker NYC had its first show in June 2001 at the Knitting Factory with inspiration from Norwood Cheek, founder of the Chapel Hill and LA Flickers. Flicker NYC is currently running at the Brooklyn Lyceum. Angie Grass and Lance Bangs in Athens, Georgia developed the original Flicker concept.
